Carnival Spirit Carnival Spirit is perhaps the most surprising and original of all Thorncroft Cordials. Very few people can distinguish the ingredients by taste. They are nothing more than concentrated apple and lime juice blended with tea and herb bitters, but the whole effect is most definitely greater than the sum of its parts. Children under the age of about 15 years usually find it reminds them of coca cola (but so much healthier and so much better), while adults find it reminds them of a Pimms, but without the alcohol.
